i want to have lasik laser eye surgery done, has anyone done it? does it hurt? is it scary? is it worth the money? has anyone heard of anyone going blind or any other bad side effects? is it true that after it is done, you do go blind for a couple of hours before your eye sight comes back? does it feel like there is sand in your eyes for a few days after the surgery? please inform if you have any info. i am seriously thinking of doing this. thanks.

Okay! I tried performing laser eye treatment on myself and it went wrong. I used a laser pen to try and save money and now I have damaged the eyesight in one of my eyes. Please help, what do I do?

I am thinking about getting it done next summer if i have all the money saved up and stuff. Ive been wearing contacts and glasses for the past 5-7 years now and my doctor says i am a good patient for the Lasik surgery. what i am a bit worried about is if there are any people, who’s vision didn’t improve all that much after the surgery, or was good for a few years but then started going down again? im not so worried about pain during the surgery and stuff, but mainly how your eyes are AFTER the surgery and how long it takes to get your vision back. my both eyes are -4.50 now or so.. id appreciate any advices. maybe you know any discussion boards about lasik as well? thanks

help,my parents are stuck on the money thing but i cant wear contacts and glasses are uncomfortable and ive been wearing them for three years!!
At least I think it’s surgery. Haha I just saw a commercial for it instead of contacts. Does anyone know what they do and if it’s a lot of money??

Have you or anyone you know ever went through with the procedure? Were they happy with the results? Is it worth the money? I have heard that sometimes when you get the surgery although it improves your eyesight a little you still need glasses after. How long do the results last?
What is the difference from taking HGH or Steriods. As for as I am concerned it is all cheating.

I would like to use money in my HSA account to pay for Lasik eye surgery. I think I’m a little short in that account right now on what it will cost. The Clinics all offer financing some even at 0%. I’m wondering if I finance the surgery does the IRS allow me to use the money in the HSA to pay the loan payments?

Has anyone ever gone blind from laser eye surgery? I am going to be 26 next week and I was going to buy some designer glasses for my birthday but I am thinking of getting laser eye surgery instead do you think it will save me money and hassles in the long run? I have been wearing glasses for 3 years and my prescription is getting worse.

they say that if you are in the military then they will pay for you eye surgery… is it even worth it because i imagine that the waiting list is extremely long, so should i just save money and pay for it myself?
