I am 20 and my right eye is -9.00 and my left eye is -8.5, but the left eye is looking a little fuzzy. I had an eye appointment about 5 months ago, and my prescription went from both eyes at -8.00 to my perscription at the top. I just got married too. So am I going to be blind in a couple of years if I don’t get lasik eye surgery now? And how much does it cost? Please help!!

About 14 years ago I had Laser surgery(the russian Technique where the cornea is cut like a knife) on my left eye. A few years later I had the right eye done(using a different technique, cornea is molded). Today(aged 40) my right eye has completly regressed and I am required to wear glasses again. Is regression common in laser surgery and could it be due to other factors such as my age? There doesn’t seem to be much information on the web about people having to go back to glasses after they had laser surgery.

I am very nearsighted, and I know it’s not a good idea to try to have my vision totally corrected with laser surgery, but can it be improved? Even just shaving off a few diopters would be great. I don’t mind wearing contacts, but I’m almost to the point where they will be very expensive. My prescription is -11.50 in my left eye, and -10.00 in my right eye.

I have had LASIK eye surgery. 24 hours after surgery my surgeon removed a contact which he had placed over the left eye; which was put there to avoid severe pain/discomfort. I can see clearly from my right eye, but vision in my left eye is blurred and bloodshot from having the contact removed. Has anyone experienced this or heard of this, and will the sight in my left eye improve?

I have some eye deficiency in my left eye that prevented me to enter the military. I want to know if lasik eye surgery would help or make worse on my situation. My left eye was said to have scars by the MEPS-appointed optometrist and a civilian optometrist told me it was just a lazy eye….I don’t know what it is…..

I have an astigmatism in my left eye and because of this my left eye has kind of poor vision but my right eye is fine. I went to my eye doctor and he said that besides the astigmatism the eye looked healthy and that my brain might just not know how to use it or something. if I can get the surgery at what age can I get it?
