I hear that you can’t FEEL it… but can you SEE it? I don’t know if I really want to be able to see them pull a flap off my eye back…
I mean as far as all the clamping and peeling of the cornea, etc. I watched it on a video on YouTube and gasped the whole time. EEE!

I’ve been hearing a lot about this, positive and negative. I’ve read the risks and I’m not so sure if I want to go through with getting it now… Anyways I’ve been reading and I can’t find a answer to this question I’ve been wondering.
If the flap of the eye is ripped ‘After’ you get lasik surgery, will it heal back ‘Completely’? I read some articles and it says that the flap doesn’t heal even close to fully if it gets ripped by lets say someone poking you in the eye after you get lasik surgery, even a year or two after you get it.

I figure smoking weed would probably dry out your eyes, and since I am getting lasik where they cut a flap, the idea of my eye being too dry and something getting messed up kind of freaks me out! I was thinking of at least waiting a week before smoking again, but is that too soon? I have no idea…

After watching a few videos of it happening, I’ve decided I’m not getting it done. But in like 4 or 5 years time, will laser eye surgery be simpler, i.e wont last as long, no discomfort, no need to cut a flap.

Also, since there is a flap made what happens to your eyes in say 30 or 40 years. Will there be side effects because the eye has been cut into?
