I’m 16 and i’m planning on getting eye laser surgery when im around 20 because i don’t want to keep wearing glasses or contacts. is is safe or is there a chance that my eyesight will mess up?

i have a lazy eye. just my left eye. im wearing contact lenses and sometimes glasses. however i want my eyesight to improve without wearing either contacts or eyeglasses. ive heard of lasik eye surgery and as per my doctor it isnt advisable. do you think lasik eye surgery would still work even for lazy eyes?

I really want laser eye surgery so that I may enjoy water & mountain sports without glasses. I am short sighted (1.25) and have hypothyroid which is medicated. Is this a contra-indication that would prevent the treatment. The phone sales rep that tried to sign me up to laser eye surgery said I could not have it…why not.
