I have contact lenses and my eyesight is -5.00 and i love my contacts alot but i was thinking thier like 20 dollars a pack and over a a few years those probally add up to thousands of dollars so would getting lasik eye surgery reduce that cost how espensive is it? and are there any side effects and will they give the surgery to 14 year olds those are my question and i have not discussed this with my parents yet so thank you for answering!

I have a few questions on laser eye surgery. I am considering getting rid of my glasses, but I do not want to have contact lenses.
-How does it work, and does it work for everybody?
-What are the risks, if any?
-What is the cost, and is some of the cost covered by most health insurance plans?
-Do you get perfect 20/20 vision, or just better vision?

My parents are giving me the choice to either get laser eye surgery or get contact lenses. I can’t choose which. Which do you recommend? Please tell me which and why. Thanks!

I have always wanted to be a pilot (specifically a pilot) in the RAF but I have contact lenses.
Do you think in 5 years my sight could recover? (probably not)

Hey guys … Im having laser eye surgery on monday. I read that I must take my contact lenses out a week before surgery but I will need to wear them for my line of work … especially on sunday. If i take them out straight after work will it be ok … ?

I am 23 and have been wearing contacts for about 7 years now. My contact lenses are -1.50 and -1.25. they arent too bad, but Im just sick of wearing them. How do you take care of your eyes after the surgery? How much does it cost? Is it worth it? Just trying to get a little insight into the procedure. Thanks for the help….

My eye sight for distance is not very good (to say the least), so i wear contact lenses most days. Could i still be a pilot if i was to get corrective eye laser surgery for my vision?

i cannot put contact lenses in (i have a really strong blink reflex) so does than mean i won’t be able to have laser eye surgery cos they pull your eyelids back? does it hurt? does it feel weird?

lasik eye surgery: worse case scenerio: you could become blind
contact lenses: worse case scenerio: you could get an infection and ruin your eye and maybe even become blind.
