I have to wear glasses for the rest of my life, since I was three. I have astigmatism a lazy eye and a terrible perscription. So bad that I cant wear colored contacted because they dont come in my perscription.

I’m nearsighted and have astigmatism. I started wearing glasses in 7th grade, then in 10th grade I began wearing contacts and now, in 12th grade, I’m still wearing them. They’re really annoying to have to deal with, so I was thinking about getting lasik. I know it’s really expensive, but I’m saving up anyway. I’ve heard that you have to be 18 or older to get the surgery, is that true?
Anyway, has anyone had this surgery done? What were the results like? Was it worth it?

Hi, I’m thinking about looking into laser/lasik eye surgery for astigmatism in my right eye. Any one here done it before with good results? Last time I talked to my doc, he said he didn’t recommend it. Something about it eventually coming back.

im planning to have a z-lasik eye surgery in 3-4 months from now. im gathering help and tips in improving my eye. i have a really bad vision.(astigmatism). 20/50 in both eyes im 22 years old.. and sleep 6 hours a day in 5 days a week.. please give me advice on improving my vision withing 3-4 months. and my early question about how safe is Z-lasik eye surgery can be. thanks and have a great day.

I have an astigmatism in my left eye and because of this my left eye has kind of poor vision but my right eye is fine. I went to my eye doctor and he said that besides the astigmatism the eye looked healthy and that my brain might just not know how to use it or something. if I can get the surgery at what age can I get it?
