LASIK Surgery. So one week from today I will be having the surgery. And I should be able to recover much faster from the surgery than from my jaw surgery. After that I will no longer need to wear contacts or glasses again.

@usmanblackops No I really did have LASIK surgery which failed on one eye and I had to get the other eye done with PRK. I am all better now and both of my eyes are still 20/20.

lol cant tell which is left or right…

did you feel any pain when it was going on ? im getting mine done in a few months but im scared it will hurt or i will see the tools and just panic.

@fatbrowne How long did it take for you to recover from the pain of PRK, and how long till you could see 100%? Did you need to wear sunglasses for a while?
I’m considering PRK since it’s less expensive and I’ll still be able to go into law enforcement, but wary because I’ve heard from some people (though theirs was a few years ago) the pain can be 2-3 weeks, not the 1 week the doctor told me…

    I was -8 in both eyes and now i’m -1 left / -2 right eye……

my doctor says I’ll have to do them again since I didnt get 1/1 (100%) eye sight….

    what a b!tch…..

@CODprivate A webcam does not reverse the location of your eyes, dumbass.

I am having exactly the same issue and it is been 4 days, wish it gets better if it is possible

  13. CODprivate’s avatar

@DrFoofyMan Are you a special kind of stupid? Most webcams basically work like a mirror. They do not REVERSE the location of your eyes, but as said; it works like a mirror. So on webcam your left eye is the one that is on the left side of the picture, dumbass.

i can accept if my eyesight doesn’t get better and stays the same but i wouldn’t be able to take it if my eyes get worse..

  17. fatbrowne’s avatar

@theKing332 Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) and Laser-Assisted Sub-Epithelial Keratectomy (or Laser Epithelial Keratomileusis) (LASEK) are laser eye surgery procedures intended to correct a person’s vision, reducing dependency on glasses or contact lenses.

  18. fatbrowne’s avatar

@miyoudkla Yeah good thing my eyes are perfect now. I am glad I had the surgery
